With its animated 3D interface the Red HTC Touch can determine between the use of a finger or stylus and thus adapting its response accordingly and includes enhanced scrolling and browsing of menu’s, messages, web pages, documents and files. Hence the name of the handset. Although the stylus can still be used in conjunction with the touchscreen, the idea is to make it more sensitive to the touch of a finger and therefore easier to use, increasing control at the same time.
Major features of the Red HTC Touch include EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, a multitude of secondary applications, 2 mega pixel camera and memory expansion.
Codenamed HTC Elf, the HTC Touch Red, also known as the HTC P3450, introduces a slightly different design set to what we’ve seen being produced by HTC and offers a unique feature at the same time whilst still retaining core functionality as a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Smartphone.
Looking more like an Apple iPhone than the traditional HTC handset, the HTC Touch in Red comes with TouchFlo technology which unlike any touchscreen already available on mobile devices allows you to control 3D images by sweeping your finger across its face.
