Sony Ericsson W980 : A Music Maestro

The W980 is Sony Ericsson’s latest upper mid-range device to be released this year. The manufacturer is said to have released too many Walkman handsets in this range, but at least it makes a good fist of them.

The W980’s finger smear loving mirrored finish and overly plastic shell is not what we expect from a flagship music blower, but we’re prepared to overlook its design faults because it’s easily the most accomplished Walkman phone we’ve pawed.

With a bright hi-res screen and touch-sensitive buttons, the music player can be entirely controlled without opening the phone.
